Your engine may be running too lean causing it to starve for gas. You should try opening the main jet adjusting screw near the bottom of the carburetor. Hal PS: Check the bottom hose to see if it's hot. If it's just warm your radiator tubes may be blocked or the water pump impeller may be worn not circulating enough coolant.
