I'm pretty sure its running on all four cylinders but I know what you mean and will double check because I know its just not running right. It has the correct new spark plugs and i put a new mag on off another tractor that runs perfectly. I know its not the mag making the noise because I changed it and when I shut it off it makes a bad grinding sound. I was just told how to add oil to the fan bearings so that may take care of the noise. I may try adjusting the float if the other adjustments don't work. The carb seems to work fine except that it occasionally just dumps gas, usually when i throttle up or begin driving. It will give me trouble and then run fine the next day until it does it again. Aren't you supported to be able to start it at advanced and then switch it to run? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to finally get this going right. Thanks for all the help.
