Areas vary... but even a fresh rebuild only has so much value. I'd expect to see a gas for around 45-6500 here... in good running shape. We've got two gas farmalls and they are a thirsty bunch... which is why I'm considering a cummins conversion on one, but I digress... One of our neighbors sold their NFE 666 for 1100... I didn't even know they were thinking about selling it though I thought about asking since their father passed. Shame I missed it.
I always hate making offers as most of them time people get upset (usually because they think it's worth more than what I think it's worth).
I'd just ask him what he'd want for it. It's the best way in my opinion.
