John I: The "F" on the serial tag stands for fabulous or fantastic or FARMALL. Your choice. All three words mean about the same.. ALL "C's" could have a water pump. They were an extra cost item on the early ones. Many other small changes. Early C's had clutch\brake pedals that had fairly straight shanks whereas Supers had a bend at the contact point with the top tranny deck so the top was a couple inches further back. The super grills had extra 1 1/2 inches on the bottom below hand crank hole befor bottom piece attachment line. (supers had taller radiator) gas tanks mounted lower on C's vs supers by same 1 /1/2 inches. Clutch housing cast piece was a bit lighter on early C's. Disk brakes for supers over drums for early regular C's .. best to check casting codes for major pieces as replacement often happens over 50 years of repairs..etc. Merry CHRISTmas.. harvey
