So I hooked it up to the one way side. The output from the splitter valve dumps back in the top of the pump.
Works good. The splitter is heafty enough to probably apply up to 30 tons of pressure but the char lynn pump appears to have only enough pressure for about 15 tons or so. Works acceptably well though. I will probably keep my ear to the ground for some kind of stronger unit.
