Overheard two guys discussing 560's this weekend. Heard several guys claim to have had "factory" turboed 560s, and one guy was claiming this again.
I know some were turbocharged for cotton picker application, but none that I know of for general use, and no cotton here in SE NE!
Did this myth arise from IH dealers using IH. crawler parts to add turbos?
Had a beautiful, original 560 years ago that I got from the original owner. He claimed he had the IH turbo setup added before they delivered it. It had IH part #'s on the manifold, and a TO-6 AirResearch on it. Would this have been the IH turbo used?
Mostly just wondering where this "factory" turbo myth got started.
