Alot depends on what shape it is in. Does it run? Good rubber, sheet metal? Last year I bought what I considered a fairly nice Super C with wide front end. I paid 1,200 for it. It was my first tractor. It runs great. I am still working on the TLC and paint. I think you are right in the ballpark on the A.
