Martin, you need to certainly know your business before dealing in supposedly collectible firearms and as others have noted an IHC made M1 will have it so noted on the back of the receiver as shown in the photo. Also noted most have been through the various military arsenals for upgrades at some time or worst yet been through the export process to a different country and government and brought back into this country.
