had a similar problem with a 255 mf was using it to disc with had been working fine, then it wouldn't lift the disc the hyd lever kicked back to neutral next try it would lift, it done this several times before quiting,my first thought was the hyd line had ruptured internally and the rubber piece was blocking the flow so I uncoupled both hoses hit the end against the disc tongue no fluid loss to speak of,hooked them back up hit the lever it kicked off, pushed the lever to the down position it kicked off again this time the lower hose jumped,so I removed that coupling end nothing, in desperation I removed the other one and noticed the ball was loose and found the retainer for the spring that holds the ball against the seat had come loose, when that happened the male coupling ball didn't have enough pressure to open the one in the female coupler causing the problem, before you go to far get a 4000 psi guage and adapt it to a male coupler preferably with a length of hose so you can position it for easy reading and check your system pressure check all the ports for there's no way all of them have gone bad at the same time
