The way things are nowadays, you could probably buy a repro for less than what it would cost you to get yours restored. They're readily available on ebay very reasonable. That's where I bought one. And even though it is probably made in china (what isn't), it looks and feels like the real deal to me. I don't know if you have considered that or not. But it's worth considering. IMHO
