No need to pounce! Definately not a SM. The sheet metal brake cover is a giveaway. All SM's had disk brakes. There's one on CL here too that is advertised as a SM but is not. Sometimes the seller doesn't know and sometimes they're a little bit crooked.
Easy to swap front end. You will need plenty of cribbing or fix up some stands to hold the front of the tractor off the ground.
However, even with no power steering, the single front is easy to steer.
The rear wheels can be dished in or out depending on what you want for spacing.
