Well, IF it is a W-14 or an O-14, and it is all there, and it is in reasonable condition, it is worth a lot more than $500 (no offense to the previous poster).
I'll go on record that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Pictures would be great to help identify what it is (info on the serial number tag would help as well).
W12/W14 are NOT common. The orchard or fairway version is even more rare. A complete unit, in reasonable mechanical and sheet metal condition starts at $1000 minimally.
