Yesterday I tested the 800 planter using the 1000 PTO on the 1586 (it has 540 also). All worked fine. Today the the control handle for the PTO does not work on the 1586. I can move it to the operate position and the linkage all moves and PTO operates but the handle does not latch, it just pops back to the off position if you let go of it. I am still getting used to this tractor so my question would be: Did something break or could I have done something to prevent it from latching? Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
(3 remotes, 2 pto, draft control...takes some time to get used to all the bells and whistles.)
