the swd9 and 650 are the same tractor. I have both. I also farm with the 660"s and they are a way better tractor in the day and pull the same implements faster in the same gear. got to take in mind that the 660 is powerful but have to be easy on them as that"s when problems start. it will out pull the 650 no problem. didn"t think that the diff. was weak though. I think the 830 john deere has a weaker diff as I have seen them give more problem than the 660 in same h. p. range.
