You need to clean that block area thoroughly where the sleeve seals are installed. I pulled the engine on the Farmall A in 1975. I used a steam jenny at work to clean the block. The crankshaft was worn only .002" and I had the crankshaft polished at our local auto machine shop. The sleeve kit cost $80.00 in 1975. I had the clutch disc relined too.
