Ray: That was interesting about your trying to determine the day it was buit. I was trying to do that with my 2ed C. It has many casting codes on major parts that are the Fall of 1947..but they didn't start the assembly line untill early 1948,as near as I have found, so unless I know that starting date I'd be only guessing. I think after WW2 the lines were run 6 days a week. Maybe two shifts? It's fun guessing. I think my C was built about the 7th day "of production" if I assume 10 months of production. There were some B's still built in early '48 befor switching to C's. At any rate its a low numbered one. Merry CHRISTmas..and keep'em running.. harvey
