Are you sure you have a 47? they only made about 81 in the very tail end of that year, they started with # 250000. 1948 started with 250082. any way, take the hyd pump off and replace the o-rings, When you do take it off & take it to the dealer with you, as the very early tractors might have pumps different than in the parts book. The o-rings are the only thing keeping hyd oil out of the crankcase, its being forced by the o-rings, & over filling your crankcase & running out your rear seal. This is the reason they say to use the same non-det oil in the hydraulics as you use in the crankcase. It's a common complaint on these old Super "A"s
