Super A said: (quoted from post at 22:50:39 06/02/14) When I was growing up in the early 80s, there were two Super AV tractors within 5 miles of me, and had been on their farms since new. So, "hi-crops" didn"t seem all that special to me. Now, as a collector, that attitude has changed!
How do the values for a Super AV, (or a 100, 130, or 140 hi-clear) compare with their standard clearance versions? I know some models of hi-clear tractors bring big $$ but wasn"t sure how the cultivision tractors compare.
Sure wish I hadn"t let those local tractors get away.....

Al,
I would say about the same price for a good one with Cultivators maybe around $500 more just for their "specialty". I bidded on one this past weekend at the Mecum Auction in TN, but I had to drop out at $4,000. It was VERY NICELY "restored" but needed a steering rebuild. The rest of the tractor was mint and it ran awesome! It had a Complete High Crop Drawbar and a Complete set of Cultivators and sold for $5,000 plus the Buyer's Premium and 10% state tax.
