I use it for pulling my trailing Bush Hog Squealer so the drawbar hole under the PTO does not get worn and improve the driveline geometry. If I didn't use it, I would have had to cut down the driveline and increase the angle of operation. It would not turn as well, either. With the extension, driveline length was EXACTLY what Bush Hog suggested.
I don't have the swingable tongue parts #4 and #5.
