Tell us a little more. How do you get it started again? Just turn it back on? Wait until it cools off? If the latter, I would first suspect the coil--they can be good when cool and die when hot.
I have also heard of weird fuel issues causing this, float, something floating in gas tank, etc. First thing is to rule out spark, so pull a plug wire as soon as it dies and crank while holding the tip close to a ground.
