Have an H that the Pilot Bearing disintegrated on it and just left a lot of little pieces of metal in the bottom of the transmission case. This included the offset star washer that held the pilot bearing in place. Some good contributors to this forum told me that the offset star washer Part number was 58862D. I called the local CaseIH dealer and they indicated that part was not available. So I got a flat washer and an internal star washer and a new bolt that was slightly longer since the previous one had threads that were messed up along with the threads inside the end of the main shaft. However when I put the bolt (has thicken head that original bolt that was in there) and the washer and the star washer together I seem to get an interference with the input shaft. Any thought on what to replace the internal offset washer with? Also I am thinking that the offset part of the star recesses under the bearing so that the head of the bolt is recessed also.
