I don't know for sure where the temp ga for the SC is hooked up, but on the C it is in the return line from the radiator tor the block. With thi set-up it will not get hot unless the air is blocked from the radiator, as this is the coldest part of the cooling system, same for the F-20. If they get up to what is a normal temp. I would think the engine would be running real hot.
