I hate the term "Universal" because that *USED* to mean the stuff that was *NOT* Hytran-compatible.
You want a hydraulic fluid that is "MS-1209 Compliant" as that is the specification that defines what Hytran is.
You will get any number of responses here, going from claims that it works fine to claims that it caused problems/damage.
Frankly, if it's wet and slippery I can't see how the tractor could possibly tell the difference. It's an inanimate object, and has no senses or feelings. The biggest issue is additive compatibility. Put two wrong additives together and you could end up with a goopy melange that won't go through the pumps or filters.
