frozen hyd. on a Cub

Me and the old Cub have not had a very good December. When I went to put the loader on, the starter was shot. Got it rebuilt and the battery was shot. Put in another battery and it would not start. Today the sun was shining on the carb. and she started right up. Now the hyd. will not work. It was fine when I put it in the shed in November after I plowed the garden. The lever to make the lift operate will not move foward. I figure there is some moisture in the valve and it is frozen. It hasn't been above freezing here in central Maryland for a couple of weeks. Does anyone know the best we to thaw it out, short of putting it in a heated garage ?
