I just spent the last 8 hours mowing with my 5' rotary mower on my Super C with a 3 point conversion. As said below, you have to run a overriding clutch unless you have a death wish. When it up in the air, the front gets a little light. I have 2 45# wheel weights up front. I run in 2nd gear in CRP grass that is as tall as the gas tank. I have done a lot of engine work. You have to have "rake" in the mower deck so you are not mowing everything twice. I have mine adjusted 4" higher in the back than in front. The cut weeds coming out the back should look like a windrow, nice and smooth on top. If it is ruffled on top, the back is to low. It saves a lot of horsepower.
