Sheldon, Getting the bearings and seal out isn't too hard, but putting them in is difficult. The problem is that it is hard to get up inside the casting to install the seal. What I did was used a piece of threaded rod and a washer about the size of the seal to pull the seal up from the bottom. I used a piece of angle iron on the top with a hole through it to put the threaded rod through to pull up. With the bearing it helps to put it in the freezer and have the casting hot like Lee said. You have to be careful not to damage the bearing when putting it in as they are real fragile. Good luck, Roger
