This was pete 23's response to a similar question I had about the hydraulics sticking on my Super C. I have not removed the battery box yet to see if I can find the pipe plug he mentions, but you may have something similar. I did pull the big screen behind the touch control sensor out, but cleaning that didn't solve the issue. I think it feels like a sticking valve too. Under that plug is a screw driver headed orfice. That is the first thing I would look at. The orfice has a screen on it and if most likely plugged restricting the flow through the orfice. The flow through that orfice is what moves the unloading piston to return the system to low pressure standby."
