Hi: I have a friend that is going to assemble a Funk V8 engine into a Ford 8N. The weight for this tractor goes about 2500lbs. and now with the Funk V8 I don't know where the weight will be. I have a Farmall Super C and want to enter the pulls this coming April, but how am I to avoid pulling against this monstor? Does he have a chance or will he spin out? I do believe that he will be in the same weight class with that engine around 3000-3200lbs. I like to keep the Farmalls on the board and any help will be greatly appreciated. We do also have to keep our tractors standard, but we can tinker and do all the tuning we want. Is he running a standard engine? Did Ford place this engine in at an optional request? Thanks! any help is appreciated! Bob
