The guys at the dealership at worked at told me that they've had problems with a lot of 1086's and to steer clear of them. I've heard that same comment from several other sources that have owned 1086 and didn't care much for them. Also seen a lot more 86's come through the shop than 66 for TA's and rearends. Seen a few with the closed center system with hydraulic problems. This is just my take on them. I'm glad to see that people have had good luck with their 1086. I'd still take a 1066, I'm right handed, and don't care much for left handed shifting. By the way, I just had a thought. If your just going to be snowblowing, a 186 Hydro would be perfect. You wouldn't have to be feathering the clutch and shifting all the time.
