I have three tractors swithched over to 12 volt.
A 1939 M,a1955 300 and a Ferguson 30. I use the 2 wire alternator with internal diodes and the 2 wire external plug in device. Have had no trouble with anything. I installed an electronic igniter on the M. Will see how that works to keep the plugs from fouling up. As funds permit I may add that to the other 2 tractors.
I am new on computer and new on this board but have been around tractors since dad bought his f-12 60 years ago.
