The Fuel is best with 87 octane pump gas. Unless the compression pressure is near 165, regular is best, as it is higher octane than the regular supplied to the farm when the tractor was new. Timing can be left set so it starts easily and does not back against the starter. A 450 cam and 450 propane head, and a 450 carb. RPM adjusted to 2200 will also be an advantage. Jim
