I made sure to use the same shims as it came with...I assembled it, checked to see how it looked and added one thin shim to take up some slack. I am very happy with how it ended up. I learned my lesson on the shims when I did the other one....I ended up swapping a whole rear end to get rid of that howl! I put in all different gears too, so for all that changing things I am happy with how it turned out. You can't hardly add up the money spent..you do it for the love of the process, not to make cash, that is for sure!
