I need to replace the 540 PTO output shaft, on my 574, due to the end being broken off. I have the replacement shaft, bearing, gasket and seal. My thinking was this job was going to be a "piece of cake". I removed the cover and have now determined that I have a groove clip that will not the broken shaft assembly slide out from the back. My question; How do I access the shaft keeper to remove it from the backside of the drive gear thus letting the broken shaft slide out? I suspect this is not going to be an easy fix but am still hopeful.... Al
