Everything was working the last time I used it this summer. The first time I used it to blow the snow this year everything was working OK (if memory serves correctly). The second time it took a long time to get the steering working (about an hour). I was able to get a little bit of steering with lots of wheel revolutions. Then it started steering properly, quite suddenly. The brakes were working while the steering wasn't, not sure about the TA. So thinking it was a problem with cold fluid I ran it for about 1/2 an hour with a kerosene salamander blowing on the hyd. resevoir. No joy. I've now replaced the hyd. filter. No joy :) I've been reading the manuals I have and am beginning to suspect the front pump. I replaced the main pump about 3-4 years ago so maybe the front pump has expired. I don't have pressure test gauge. I've had the tractor about 5 years, but have no experience with tractors previously. I'm also not very well tooled for stuff this big. I've misspent most of my life playing with motorcycles. :) Maybe it's time for some help from the local dealer. Wayne

There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
