He will need to tie in the hy system to add a two way valve then add a resivour for more hy fluid keep in mind that system was not made for log splitters ect pump will make 1000 lbs pressure but the flow will be slow running a cycl for splittng wood.If he uses a 4in dia cycl it will have power but will be slow
