I agree with the post which says to overfill a few gallon. I would go futher to say if you use the tractor alot in cold weather to over fill with a couple gallon of diesel fuel or kereosene to thin down the cold thick oil. I would try this before dismantling a system which works when its warm. If you can't get the system primed while its cold, remove the filter, gat the system primed and warmed up and replace the filter. I know guys out here in Iowa that run all winter with no filter. I wouldn't say its the thing to do, but it works. Good lock.
