you might have something there the line doesnt loop or dip down below the carb inlet, but maybe replacing the rubber line with a steel one will help , this is driving me nuts,and this cub didnt used to do this so it has to be fixable, i know a cub is the smallest ih tractor, but it should mow ok,as long as it doesnt have too large a mower under it, i just saw a picture of a B with a disc behind it, it was pulling so hard it had its front tires more than 2 feet off the ground, and it wasnt giving up, that carb isnt that much bigger
