Pretty much any alternator will fit on a C. The mounting bracket is out in the open so there is no hood to worry about. Delco 10SI is the common one to use because they are plentiful and cheap.
Apparently you can also fit a Delco 10SI under the hood of an H. I'm not sure how, but people say it can be done with "plenty" of room.
Of course, it is not a direct bolt-in in either case. There will be some modification necessary.
