there should be a timing mark on the flywheel.the hitch height is good,but the other 2 c tractors had theirs 2 feet shorter and the one with the floater hitch won the class with full pull,no one came close.just a thought...I know you just did the motor,as the day went on I noticed the tractor smoking white,you can see pics on bragging web site.the last c I did,i had to go over the head studs 4 times,wait 15 min between torqueing,as they loosened up-things stretch-.you may be loosing power that way,then you need to go back over and readjust the valves,,just a thought,,trying to help.
