Allan is right; they used Loctite at the factory. I had a heck of a time getting the bolts off my GMC Jimmy the first time. Then the passenger side caliper fell off after about 15 miles, losing one of the bolts in the process. I added lock washers to all the caliper bolts, and bought bolts one size longer than original to make up for the thickness of the washers. No problems since.
