Hi All: I currently have a IH 444 and a IH574 / 2500B The 2500B has a hydraulic reverser ( shuttle shift) and we really like it. The wife finds it much easier to use the 2500B when doing things then trying to shift the 444 between 2nd and R.
So I got to wondering, (all most Always gets me into trouble) I would like to trade up in a year or so and get a 464/474 to replace my 444. I like the control layout better and I have knee issues and getting my big fat feet around the gear shift levers is getting to be more of a problem.
so.....
If I get a 464/474 tractor can a hydraulic reverse unit be installed in these tractors?
Is it something that just installs where a TA would or is it different?
How big a job is it to install one of these reverser units?
