Seat on 1939 Farmall A???

I have a question for a letter series originality expert. I am restoring a 1939 A and am wondering what to do about the seat. The seats on these tractors must have been different in the way they were upolstered. The seat is shaped like other "A" seats but has rivets around the outside lip instead of the normal crimped band which held the fabric in place. Can anyone tell me how this seat should look - color and how the rivets were used?
