Spring and fall are usually worst problem around here because there is enough humidity in the air and temp falls in the correct range for freeze up. In the winter air is usually too dry to hold enough water BUT, big exception, if bucking snow or it is snowing out that will put enough moisture in the air to really freeze them even at higher speeds. The heat stove around the muffler and leading into the air cleaner really works good to cure that problem. I see them manifolds with cakes of ice on the outside so you know wht is inside also.
