Standard oil capacity is 5 gallons. The plug to check the level is just under the step platform on the fight side, just ahead of the park brake lever. The front crankshaft mounted pump was an option for the 2444. If used the capacity was increased to 14 gallons and the level is checked by measuring down six inches from the fill plug.
