It works very well, installed a 300 with350 sleeves and pistons in a 45 h. Below is a list of what I used to install.

To install 300 or 350 engine in a H

1. If you are planning on using the 300/350 live pump be sure to use the timing cover and related parts for 300 or 350 or late H (early H bolt holes are different).

2. Use the H fan, 300/350 fan is to large in diameter.

3. Use the air cleaner & pipe from air cleaner to carburetor for a SH, the one for an H is to small for the 300/350 carburetor.

4. Use a 300/350 or SH flywheel and a SH clutch plate and pressure plate if you are going to pull it hard (H flywheel, clutch plate and pressure plate will work but is smaller, H 10”, SH/300/350 10 ½” ). Also if you use the 300/350 flywheel measure the distance from crank mounting flange to starter ring gear (might have to drive it back a little).

5. Use H governor or use throttle shaft from H governor in 300/350 governor.

6. Have to convert vent from back of head on H to vent from valve cover for 300/350.

7. Change oil pressure fitting from H onto 300/350 block before installing side rail channels (fitting is hard to change after rails are installed). 300/350 had small line from block to gauge.
