The markings are the size of the bore for selective fit of sleeves when the engines were manufactured. No two bores or no two sleeves are exactly the same and when they have a box full of sleeves they could select the best fitting ones. Not going to find any sleeves for sale coded for those numbers as it was just for original assembly. IH tried to selective fit for some service sleeves in some engines like the 806 but gave it up very shortly as it just was not practical. I always try all sleeves in all bores to get the best fit. It is always a compromise up to a point. You have to do this at room temp so if you are going to freeze the sleeves for installation do the selective fitting and mark them before you do that. I personally always pull a sleeve in place except the loose fit ones that push in by hand.
