Around here on a tight track a good running 560 will have its hands full in 1st high, maybe 2nd low with 16.9-38s. We also run alot of weight on the nose to keep the front end down, once the front comes up the hitch goes down and you loose alot of your hook. We try to keep the tires no more than 6" off the ground.
Alot of times with the extra black smoke there isn't any extra power, sometimes it hurts by overfueling. There is a point where it will make maximum power, less fuel will make less and more fuel will make less. Only way to find out is with a dyno.
