Update.
Machine shop guy came out today to take a look at the project. The crank, he thought looked pretty good. The bearings that came out of it are at .002. That was both main and rods. He didn't see anything immediate on the head as far as cracks go, but said he would want to tear into it a little further before we go much further. He did say, how ever that the pistons didn't look too bad, and that we might still be able to use them. YEAH !!
I did get in contact with someone on a full rebuild kit, Pistons, sleeves, bearings, gaskets, less valves for the head. and yeah, expensive..... But, he had EVERYTHING...
