As a follow-up to the message I posted awhile back...about my "Super M power steering woes"...I received several responses; thanks to all you sent info my way. Only problem was the options presented me were very costly; a replacement (Saginaw pump) could not be found, a new Vicker's pump was $250 'ish...and one gentleman said he could re-build mine for $350 (plus shipping). Not having that kind of extra "dough" laying around, and getting desperate, I went to a "U Wrench It" junk-yard, took a power steering pump off a big Dodge (full size) van (400+ cubic inch V-8), modified the mounting bracket a little...and it works like brand new. And best of all, it cost me a total of $11.51, a far cry from the $350 price quoted me to re-build mine. I know my remedy may be a "sin" for the restoration purists out there, but it works for me and since nobody sees it anyway (it sits under the hood), I'm not embarassed. Thought I'd pass on the info, for whatever its worth. DAN
