Kansas State fair yesterday, I drove a friend's tractor in for the antique tractor show, then spent most of the day talking to old friends and examining tractors. A friend and I were comparing a C and SC there and my contention was the front emblem was reversed on the two. Asking here to see what is right. I was under the impression all the regular letter series, C, H, M they had the longer "Farmall" emblem on the grill, at least the H and M did. Then all the Supers had a smaller rectangular (almost square) "IH" on the grill. On these two, the C had the IH and the Super had the long Farmall emblem.
Am I right or wrong? Dad had both and I'm sure that's the way they were, and if the H/SH and M/SM are that way, I'd think the C/SC would also. I'm not a "correct police" or anything, as neither was intended to be 100% correct from what I saw, but were nice looking regardless.
